1) What are things that distract you from reading? I've been very distracted lately, taking care of my girls, cleaning my house, dental work, but mostly it's been the computer. The computer sucks up so much of my time, but I can't seem to get myself away from it for long. Any tips?
2) This weekend starts a series of several amazing writer's workshops in Utah. Tomorrow starts LDS Storymakers, then there's Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers in June, a Children's Book Symposium at BYU in July. So many things that I wish I could go to this year, that I wish I had been dedicated enough to write enough to make it worth while. I absolutely love conferences. I almost want to write just so I can justify going!
3) It is true that the book publishing world is changing very quickly. Traditional publishing is slowing down, independent is speeding up, and for the book blogger it's getting harder to get paper copies of ARCs to read. I think I need an e-reader just so I can keep getting my Advance Copies! So...nook vs. kindle? What do you think?

the computer takes most of my time too. As for the e-reader you should get a KINDLE.
I'm a bit behind reading the posts. But I agree the computer can be a big distraction. And as for e-readers get the Kindle Fire.
